This collaborative project will draw on expertise from international researchers while building the capacity of in-country researchers towards using the Health Food Environment Policy Index (Food EPI) for food environment policy review. In addition, the capacity to implement economic analysis and legal feasibility assessments will be built. The results of this project will identify specifically tailored policy and practice interventions to promote healthy food environments and evidence to support the adoption of these interventions in Tanzania.
